IANE's Fifth Graders, and Homeroom Teacher, Br Karim Serageldine, helped raise over $500 earlier this year in support of the International Humanity Foundation's (IHF) "Survival Program" to aid the poorest of the poor.
The funds raised went towards the purchase of four goats, two camels and four chicken and given to families in Pokot, Kenya, to help them survive through the year.
This gift is really one that keeps on giving! In appreciation of our students and Br Karim's generosity, the IHF acknowledged their participation in the Survival Program through the following certificates.
Well done, Fifth Grade students and Br Karim !
We're so proud of you for having made a significant difference in the lives of these families who are in need. May Allah swt accept and reward your good deeds. Ameen.
